Pratipattya Adhikāra Interlingua
Kārikā Prathamā
In two wa̍ys, to nai̩rātmya̍, for (an) ā̩jñāya̍, ¦
(is) the dhī̩ma̍t, in these two pu̩dga̍la̩ dharma̍'s. |
(A) dvaya̩ mithyā̍tva sa̩myaktva̍, ¦
ought be vi̩varjye̍ta'd, by the traya̍, inde̩ed. || 13.1 ||
Kārikā Dvitīyā
The artha̩ jña̍, of sarva̩ these dharma̍'s, ¦
vetti̩'s, to kola̍ samā̩natā̍. |
For śruta̩'ng the tuṣṭi̍ (of) pra̩hāṇa, ¦
the dharma̩ jña̍, (tis) by tha̩t, kathya̍te̩'d. || 13.2 ||
Kārikā Tṛtīyā
With the pārtha̩g jana̍, ˰ by jñā̩na̍, ¦
having prati̩vidhya̍'d, the dva̩ya̍; that manne̩r, |
tha̎t, in the jñāna̩'s pari̍ni̩ṣpatti̍, ¦
for anu̩dharma̍, (he) pra̩padya̍te's. || 13.3 ||
Kārikā Caturthā
From tha̩t, for jñāna̍, he̩ la̍bha̩te's, ¦
for the loka̩ u̩ttara̍, for the anu̩ttara̍, |
in the ādi̩bhūmi̍, for sama̍, with sarva̩ ¦
bodhi̩sattva̍'s, the̩n, with these ā̩tma̍n's. || 13.4 ||
Kārikā Pañcamā
Having kṛtvā̩'d, (is) darśa̍na shall be jñe̩ya̍'d. ¦
Of these kle̩śa̍'s, (tis) for sa̩rva̍ sa̩ṅkṣaya̍. |
Shall be jñe̩ya̍'d, ˰ (tis) for the a̍vara̩ṇa̍ jñā̩na̍, ¦
in bha̩vanā̍, (is) pra̩yujya̍te'd. || 13.5 ||
Kārikā Ṣaṣṭhā
By the vya̍va̩sthāna̍ of a̍vi̩kalpa̍, ¦
by jñāna̍, wi̩th cāri̍n'ing, |
for anu̩dharma̍, (one) ca̩ra̍ti's, thu̩s, ¦
in these pari̩śiṣṭā̍ bhū̩mi̍'s. || 13.6 ||
Kārikā Saptamā
Su̩lābha̍'ng, moreo̩ver, the sva̍dhi̩ṣṭhāna̍ḥ, ¦
the su̩bhūmi̍ḥ, the susa̩hāya̍kaḥ, |
the su̩yogo̍, guṇa̩vā̍n, (tis) the de̩śo̍, ¦
in whi̩ch, the dhīmā̍n pra̩padya̍te's. || 13.7 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭamā
Mu̩ch t'was śruta̍'d, ˰ dṛ̩ṣṭa̍'ng the sa̩tya̍, ¦
the vāgmī̍, the sa̩ma̍nu̩kampa̍ka. |
A̩khinna̍, the bodhi̩sattva̍ś, also̩, ¦
having jñeya̍'d sa̩t·purū̍ṣa, (is a) ma̩hā̍n. || 13.8 ||
Kārikā Navamā
Svā̩lamba̍nā̩, su̍sa̩mbhārā̍, ¦
su̩bhāva̍nā̩, just so̩, the deśi̍tā̩, |
(tis) su̍ni̩ryāṇa̍ pra̩yogā̍, a̩nd ¦
(an) ātma̍ sa̩mya̍k't pra̩dhāna̍tā̩. || 13.9 ||
Kārikā Daśamā
From rati̍, from the kṣaṇa̍'ng (of) u̍pa̩patti̍ also̩, ¦
of ā̩rogya̍, the̍reto̩, (was) the kāra̍ṇa. |
From sa̩mādhi̍, of the vi̩caya̍, the̍reto̩̩, ¦
in the pūrva̍'ng, veri̩ly, (was) kṛta̍'ng puṇya̩tā̍. || 13.10 ||
Kārikā Ekādaśā
The dharma̩·dhātu̍ vini̩rmukta̍'d, ¦
from su̩ch, (is) the dharma̍ no̩t vidya̍te'd. |
From tha̎t, the rāga̩ ā̩da̍ya, of all of the͈m, ¦
with these buddha̍'s, for ni̩ḥsara̍ṇa̩, (are) matā̍'s. || 13.11 ||
Kārikā Dvādaśā
The dharma̩ dhātu̍ being vini̩rmukta̍'d, ¦
from su̩ch, (is) the dharma̍ no̩t vidya̍te'd. |
From tha̎t, in the sa̩ṅkleśa̍ ni̩rdeśa̍'ng, ¦
it, of these sa̩ṃvid'ng dhīma̍tā̩'s, (tis) the mata̍. || 13.12 ||
Kārikā Trayodaśā
From whi̍ch, for the̩m, in thi̍s way, for those rāga̩ ā̩di̍'s, ¦
funda̩menta̍lly, (mata) it prati̩padya̍te's. |
The̍nce, (tis) vi̩mucya̍te'd, for the̩m. ¦
By tha̍t (mata), of tho̍se (impassioned ones), the ni̩ḥsṛti̍, (tis) from tha̩t. || 13.13 ||
Kārikā Caturdaśā
No̩t, inde̍ed, of these jinas suta'd, ˰ for bādha̩ka̍'ng, for duḥkha̍'ng, for ugra̩, ¦
With these nara̍ka̩ bhava̍na̩ vāsa̍s, ˰ from the satva̩ hetu̍, so̩me ho̍w, |
Tis the śama̍ bhava̩ guṇa̍'s doṣa̩, ˰ pre̩ri̍tā'd, in the hīna̩yāna̍, ¦
(a) vi̩vi̍dha̩'s śubha̍ vi̩kalpā̍, ˰ the bādha̩kā̍'nce, of these dhī̩ma̍t's, inde̩ed. || 13.14 ||
Kārikā Pañcadaśā
No̎t, inde̩ed, the nara̍ka̩ vāsa̍, ˰ of these dhī̩ma̍tā, for a̩ll kāla̍, ¦
from the vi̩mala̍ vi̩pula̍ bo̩dhi̍, ˰ for a̩ntarā̍ya̩, (doth) karo̍ti. |
A sva̩hita'ng para̩ma'st śī̩ta̍, ˰ in so̩oth, on anya̩ yāna̍, the vi̩kalpa̍, ¦
in para̩ma'st sukha̍ vi̩hāra̍'ng, ˰ moreover, for a̩ntarā̍ya̩, (doth) karo̍ti. || 13.15 ||
Kārikā Ṣoḍaśā
The dharma̩'s a̩bhāva̍ u̍pa̩labdhi̍, and also̩ ¦
(a) ni̍ḥsa̩ṅkleśa̍'d vi̩śuddhi̍tā! |
Māya̩'s a̩di̍sa̩dṛśī̍, so to be jñe̩yā̍'d, ¦
(is) the ā̩kāśa̍'s sa̩dṛśī̍, tha̩t manne̍r! || 13.16 ||
Kārikā Saptadaśā
Which manne̍r, simila̩rly, upon the citra̍, having the ri̩ght condi̍tions, in vi̩citri̍ta, ¦
(is) no̎t tru̩ly u̩nnata̍'d (doth) no̩t a̩sti̍, a̩nd (is) dṛśya̍te'd moreo̩ver, also̍. |
In a̩bhūta̍ kalpa̍, there̩fore, likewise, like tha̍t every ma̩nner, ¦
the dva̍ya̩, alwa̍ys no̩t a̩sti̍'s, a̩nd (is) dṛśya̍te'd, moreo̩ver, also̍. || 13.17 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭādaśā
Whi̩ch manne̍r, like tha̩t in toya̍ (being) luṭi̩ta̍'d, in pra̩sādi̍ta'ng, ¦
no̩t jāya̍te'd (is) she̩ aga̍in, from a̩ccha̍tā̩ e̩lsewhe̍re. |
The mala̍'s a̍pa̩karṣa̍, inde̩ed, he̍, therefo̩re, (is) keva̍la. ¦
In the sva̩citta̍ śuddhi̍, the vidhi̍, (tis) thi̩s, just so̍, assure̩dly. || 13.18 ||
Kārikā Navadaśā
Mata̍ a̩nd citta̍, (are) the pra̩kṛti·pra̩bhā·sva̩ra̍'ness, ¦
consta̩ntly therefo̍re, to ā̩gantu̍ka doṣa̩ dūṣi̍ta'd. |
No̩t the dharma̍tā̩, (is) unto citta̍'ng, apart from; (tis) othe̩rwise, of ceta̍s, ¦
for the pra̩bhā̍'s svara̩tva̍'nce, in pra̩kṛti̍, vi̩dhīya̍te's. || 13.19 ||
Kārikā Viṃśā
O̩f the̍ bodhi̩sattva̍, amo̩ngst the̍se sa̩ttva̍'s, ¦
fo̩r prema̍'ng majja̩ gata̍'ng, (tis) to (a) ma̩ha̍t; |
whi̩ch manne̍r, i̩n e̍ka̩ putra̍ka̩, fro̍m tha̩t, ¦
alwa̍ys, fo̩r hi̍ta̩ kara̍, (is) the ma̩ta̍. || 13.20 ||
Kārikā Ekaviṃśā
In these sattva̍'s, (tis a) hita̩'ed kāri̍tva̩. ¦
Not thu̍s so, to ā̩patti̍ (is) he, to the rāga̩ jā̍. |
The dveṣa̍ tis vi̩rudhya̍te̩'d, in sooth, of tha̎t, ¦
in sarva̩ these sattva̍'s, by the sa͈t pathā̍. || 13.21 ||
Kārikā Dvāviṃśā
Which manne̩r, the kapo̍tī, (her) sva̩suta̍ a̍ti̩vatsa̍lā'ng, ¦
had sva̩bhāva̍ka for the̩m, having u̍pa̩guhya̍'d, (it) ti̩ṣṭha̍ti's. |
That manne̩r, for vi̍dha̩ a̩ya̍'ng, prati̩gha̍ (tis) vi̩rudhya̍te̩'d, ¦
in the suta̍'s, li̩ke tha̍t; oh with sa̩kṛpa̍, thereto̩, in these dehi̍ṣu. || 13.22 ||
Kārikā Trayoviṃśā
The maitrī̍, from whi̩ch, pra̍tigha̩ citta̍, fro̩m i̍t, (is) vi̩ruddha̍. ¦
The śānti̍, from whi̩ch, vyasa̍na̩'ng citta̍, fro̩m i̍t, (is) vi̩ruddha̍. |
The artha̍, from whi̩ch, ni̍kṛti̩ citta̍, fro̩m i̍t, (is) vi̩ruddha̍. ¦
The hlāda̍, from whi̩ch, pra̍ti̩bhaya̍, no̩t from tha̍t, (tis) to vi̩ruddha̍. || 13.23 ||
Kārikā Caturviṃśā
Whereo̩f, the ā̩tura̍, upon su̩bhaiṣa̍jya, ¦
in sa̩ṃsāra̍, prati̩padya̍te's. |
Upon the ā̩tura̍, also̩ which manne̍r, the vai̩dya̍, ¦
amongst these sattva̍'s, prati̩padya̍te's. || 13.24 ||
Kārikā Pañcaviṃśā
Upon (being) a̍ni̩ṣpanna̍'d, which manne̩r, in the ceṭa̍, ¦
upon svā̩tma̍n, (it) prati̩padya̍te's. |
Upon the vaṇi̍g, which manne̩r aga̍in, in pa̩ṇya̍, ¦
upon these kā̩ma̍'s, (it) prati̩padya̍te's. || 13.25 ||
Kārikā Ṣaḍviṃśā
Which manne̍r, just so̩, the raja̍ka̩, upon the vastra̍, ¦
for karma̩n, pra̍ti̩padya̍te's. |
The pita̍r, whereo̩f, in suta̍'ing (a) bāla̍, ¦
upon (a) sattva̩'s a̩heṭha̍, pra̩padya̍te's. || 13.26 ||
Kārikā Saptaviṃśā
A̍gni̩ a̩rthī̍'ng, also, in dhara̩'ng (on) the a̩raṇī̍, ¦
in sā̩tatya̍, (he) prati̩padya̍te's. |
Vai̩śvāsi̍ka̩'ng, also̍, ˰ in ni̩ṣpanna̍'ng, ¦
in adhi̩citta̍, (one) pra̩padya̍te's. || 13.27 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭāviṃśā
The māyā̍, in kāra̩, like̍ tha̩t, shall be jñeye̍'d; ¦
with pra̩jñayā̍, (she) prati̩padya̍te's. |
The prati̩patti̍, which manne̩r, wherei̍n, ¦
of the bodhi̩sattva̍, she̩, is the matā̍. || 13.28 ||
Kārikā Navaviṃśā
Thus so̩, consta̍ntly, the u̩dāra̍ yukta̩'d vīrya̍, ¦¦
in dvaya̩ pa̍ri̩pāca̍na̩'ng (and) śodha̍na'ng, su̩yukta̍'d, |
with the para̍ma'st vi̩mala̍ ni̩rvi̍kalpa̩'ng buddhi̍, ¦¦
vra̩ja̍ti's he̩, to siddhi̍, to the a̩nu̍ttama̩'d, by krama̍. || 13.29 ||
