Kārikā Dvitīyā
These sūtra̍ a̍bhi̩dharma̍ vi̩naya̍’s, ¦¦
the catu̍rvidha̩ a̩rthā̍, these ma̩tā̍s, by sa̩mā̍sa̩; |
of tho̩se, from jñānā̍’ng, the dhī̩mā̍t, ¦¦

Kārikā Tṛtīyā

Kārikā Dvādaśā
The pra̩yogi̍n, the vaśa̩ varti̍n’ng also̩, ¦

Of these yogi̍n’s, i̩ndee̍d, the mana̩skāra̍, ¦
thi̩s, (is) sarva̍’ly ā̍tma̩ka̍’d (of) mata̍. || 11.12 ||
Dharma Tatva Paryeṣṭau
Kārikā Trayodaśā
The tatva̍, that whi̩ch, consta̩ntly, by dvaya̍’ty, (tis) rahi̩ta̍’ng; ˰ from bhrānti̍’ng, also̩, (is) san̍ni̩śraya̍. ¦
To be śakya̍’d, (tis) no̩t, like tha̍t also̩, in eve̩ry ma̍nner, to a̍bhi̩lapi̍tum; ˰ whe̩nce also̍, to (an) a̍pra̩pañca̍ ā̍tma̩ka̍. |
Shall be jñeya̍’d, to be heya̍’d, moreo̩ver, to be vi̩śodhya̍’d, to be a̩mala̍’d; ˰ wherefo̩re also̍, (tis) by (a) pra̩kṛtyā̍, for ma̩tā̍. ¦
Of whi̩ch the ā̩kāśa̍ the su̩varṇa̍ and vāri̍ (are) sa̩dṛśī̍; ˰ from kleśa̍, (tis) vi̩śuddhi̍, the matā̍. || 11.13 ||
Kārikā Caturdaśā
Nau̍ght, inde̩ed, mongst the jaga̍ti, (tis) from tha̩t; ˰ vidya̍te’d, anythi̩ng, moreo̍ver. ¦
For the jaga̍t, thereto̩, (tis) thus so̍, a̩śeṣa̍’ng; ˰ therei̩n, (a) sa̍nmūḍha̩’d buddhi̍. |
Pray te̩ll, (tis) thi̎s one, abhi̩rūḍha̍’d; ˰ the loka̩’s moha̍ pra̩kāra̍. ¦
That which, (is) a̩sat a̍bhini̩viṣṭa̍’d; ˰ from sa̩t sama̍nta’d, having vi̩hāya̍’d. || 11.14 ||

Kārikā Āṣṭādaśā
Tha̎t, in the ni̩mitta̍, which ma̩nner, (tis) the loka̍; ¦
verily, the a̩bhrānta̍’ng (one), inte̩ntionally, ought care̍t. |
In the parā̩vṛtti̍, the a̩parya̍’ng, (tis) for i̩t. ¦

From tha̩t, (is) the asti̍tva (of) no̩n·a̩sti̍tva, ¦

From bhrānti̍’ng, for ni̩mitta̍, ˰ the bhrānti̩’ng also̍, ¦
the rūpa̍ of vi̩jñapti̍, tis iṣya̩te̍’d. |
A̩rūpi̍ṇī̩ also̍, (is) the vi̩jñapti̍; ¦
from a̩bhāva̍, syā̩t, no̍t also̩ i̩tarā̍. || 11.24 ||
Kārikā Pañcaviṃśā
Māyā̍ tis, –like of (a) hasti̩’s ā̩kṛti̍ grāha̩’ng ¦
and bhrānti̍’ng–, to dvaya̍ udā̩hṛta̍’d. |
Dvaya̍, the̩rei̍n, which manne̩r, (doth) not asti̍. ¦

These sa̍d (and) a̩santa̍’s, moreover, (are) māya̩ ā̩bhā̍’ng. ¦
Those two̩ (are), the dharma̍n’s bhrā̩nti̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍’ng. || 11.27 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭāviṃśā
That manne̩r from a̩bhāva̍! that manne̩r from a̩bhāva̍! ¦
that manne̩r from a̩bhāva̍!, (are) these a̩lakṣa̍ṇa’s, |
these māya̍’s upa̩ma’st; a̍nd, (tis) ni̩rdiṣṭā̍’d, ¦
tho̩se which, the dharma̍’s prāti̩pakṣi̍ka. || 11.28 ||

Māyā̩, the rājā̍, ju̍st so̩, also̍ (tis) with a̍nothe̩r. ¦
Māyā̩, by (a) rājā̍, (is) the parā̩jita̍. |

To sama̩’ty, tha̍t also̩, having jñātvā̍’d, ˰ (doth) pra̩viśa̍ti he̩ unto tattva̍, from the graha̩ṇa̍’ng. |
From tha̍t, therefo̩re, from (a firm) sthāna̍, ˰ of mana̍s, he̩re, not (doth one) khyāti̍, so thus so̩, thereto̍, ¦

Of these dharma̍ nai̩rātmya̍ mukti̍’s, ¦
from tulya̩tva̍, from the gotra̩ bheda̍ta’d, |
from dvyā̩śa̍ya̩ āpti̍’s, also̩ from the ni̩rmāṇa̍, ¦
from the pa̩ryanta̍, (tis) eka̩yāna̍tā̩. || 11.53 ||
Kārikā Catuḥpañcāśā
For the ā̩karṣa̍ṇa̩ a̩rtha̍, of these eka̩’s, ¦
ano̍ther, for sa̩ndhāra̍ṇa’ng aga̩in, |
of these deśi̍ta’d ani̩yata̍’s, assure̩dly, ¦
with these sa̩mbuddha̍’s, (tis an) eka̩yāna̍tā. || 11.54 ||
Kārikā Pañcapañcāśā
The śrāva̩ka̍ (is) ani̩yata̍, in dve̩dhā̍, ¦
from the dṛṣṭa̩·a̩dṛṣṭa̍ a̍rtha̩ yāna̍. |
The dṛṣṭa̩ a̩rtha̍, the vīta̩ rāga̍, and ¦
the avīta̩ rāga̍ also, tha͈t, (is) mṛdu̍. || 11.55 ||
Kārikā Ṣaṭpañcāśā
Those two̍ (are) also̩, of labdha̍’ng (an) ā̍rya̩ mārga̍, ¦
in these bhava̍’s, from (a) pari̩ṇāma̍na. |
With (an) a̩cintya̍’ble pari̩ṇāmi̍kī, ¦
by upa̩patti̍’ng, (are) those two sama̩nvita̍’d. || 11.56 ||
Kārikā Saptapañcāśā
From the praṇi̩dhāna̍’s vaśa̍, for the e̩ka̍’ty ¦
upa̩patti̍’ng, (doth one) pra̩padya̍te. |
The e̩ka̍, (who is an) anā̩gāmi̍tā̩, from yoga̍, ¦
with these ni̩rmāṇa̍’s, (doth) prati̩padya̍te. || 11.57 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭāpañcāśā
From the ni̩rvāṇa̍ a̍bhi̩rata̍tva, a̩nd ¦
those two̍ dhandha̩ gati̍ka̩’s, in the mati̍; |
aga̩in, aga̍in, (tis) of sva̩citta̍, ¦
from the sa̍mu̩dā̍cāra̩ yoga̍. || 11.58 ||
Kārikā Navapañcāśā
He̍, the akṛta̩ a̩rtha̍, i̩ndeed, in being a̩buddha̍’d, ca̩ ¦
jāta̍’ng, for (a) dhyāna̩ a̩rtha̍, (tis) u̩dyata̍’d. |
Ni̩rmāṇa̍ a̍rthī̩’ng, therefo̍re, having ā̩śritya̍’d to; ¦
for the parā̍, for the bodhi̍, (doth one) a̩vāpnu̍te. || 11.59 ||
Vidyā, Sthāna Paryeṣṭau
Kārikā Ṣaṣṭitamā
The vidyā̍, in sthāna̍’ng, ˰ in the pañca̩ vidha̍, for yoga̍, having a̩kṛtvā̍’d, ¦
for sarva̩ jñatva̍; ˰ no̩t like tha̍t, by a̩ny me̍ans, (is) the para̩ma’st ārya̍. |
Just so̍, other tha̩n of the̍se, ˰ (tis) for the ni̩graha̍ṇa’ng anu̩graha̍ṇa̩’ng, ¦
the svā̍jña̩ a̩rtha̍ vā̩’ng; ˰ therei̩n, karo̍ti’s, li̩ke tha̍t, he̩, for yoga̍. || 11.60 ||
Dhātu Puṣṭi Paryeṣṭau
Kārikā Ekaṣaṣṭā
The hetu̍ for the u̍pa̩labdhi̍ of tuṣṭi̍, a̩nd ¦
(a) ni̩śraya̍, there̩fore, tis (an) a̍nu̩smṛti̍, |
sā̩dhāra̍ṇa’ng phala̩’s i̩cchā̍ also̩; ¦
which manne̩r, tis (a) bodha̍ a̍dhi̩mucya̍nā. || 11.61 ||
Kārikā Dvaṣaṣṭā
The catu̍r vi̩dhā̍, by a̍nu̩bhāva̍: ¦
the prīya̍ṇā̩, the kheda̍ ni̩ścaya̍, |
in the vi̩pakṣa̍, in prati̩pakṣa̍ a̩lso, ¦
the pra̍ti̩patti̍, (tis) ca̩tu̍r vi̩dhā̍. || 11.62 ||
Kārikā Trayaḥṣaṣṭā
The pra̩sāda̍, tis the sa̩mpra̍tī̩kṣā̍; also̩, ¦
the dāna̍, tis the chanda̍; in ano̩ther pla̍ce, a̩lso, |
the sa̩nnāha̍, tis for praṇi̩dhāna̍; a̩nd ¦
for the abhi̍nanda̩ mana̍s, is the kriyā̍. || 11.63 ||
Kārikā Catuḥṣaṣṭā
Śakti̩ lābha̍’ng, that ti̩me, (tis) for u̩tsukya̍. ¦
In dāna̩, a̩t fi̍̍rst, ṣa̩ḍvidha̍, (tis) the dhana̍. |
In pari̩pāka̍’ng, the̩n, in the pūjā̍, ¦
in sevā̍, (tis) the anu̩kampa̍nā. || 11.64 ||
Kārikā Pañcaṣaṣṭā
In the a̩kṛta̍, in the ku̩kṛta̍, tis lajjā̍. ¦
For the kau̩kṛtya̍, in (a) vi̩ṣaya̍, tis rati̍. |
The a̩mitra̍ sa̩ñjñā̍, ˰ in kheda̍ also̩, ¦
the raca̍na̩’ng of (an) u̩dbhāva̍nā, tis the mati̍. || 11.65 ||
Kārikā Ṣaṭṣaṣṭā
Dāna̩ ā̩daya̍’ly, tis for prati̩sara̍ṇa, ¦
in sa̩mbodhi̍, no̩t the ī̩śvara̍ ā̍daya̩. |
Of these doṣa̍’s, a̩nd of these guṇa̍’s also̩, ¦
the prati̍sa̩nveda̍nā̩, is of these two dvaya̍’s. || 11.66 ||
Kārikā Saptaṣaṣṭā
The caya̍ a̍nu̩smara̍ṇa’ng prīti̍, ¦
tis of (a) māhā̩ a̩rthya̍, also̩, for the darśa̍na. |
In yoga̍, the abhi̩lāṣa̍, tis in (being) a̍vi̩kalpa̍; ¦
thus so̩, in dhṛti̍’ness, upon the pra̍tyaya̩ ā̩gama̍. || 11.67 ||
Kārikā Aṣṭāṣaṣṭā
In sapta̍ pra̩kāra̍, ˰ ā̍sat, grāha̩’ng ¦
vyu̩tthā̍na̩, the śakti̍’s da̩rśana̍. |
Asto̩nishi̍ngly, also moreove̩r, u̍nasto̩ni̍shingly, ¦
the sa̩ñjñā̍ (tis), also̩ like tha̍t, ca̩tu̍r·vi̩dhā̍. || 11.68 ||

Sama̍tā, in sarva̩ sattva̍, ¦
dṛ̩ṣṭi̍’ng, also̩ thereto̍, the mahā̩tmi̍kā, |
the para̩guṇa̍ prati̩kāra̍, ¦

Kārikā Saptatitamā
From buddha̍ pra̩ṇīta̍’d ˰ anu̩ṣṭhā̍na, ¦
from arvā̍g a̩sthā̍na̩ ceta̍na, |
tha̩t wa̍y, by ni̩vṛddhi̍, ˰ in these sa̩ttva̍’s, ¦
anā̩moda̍, tis pra̩moda̍nā. || 11.70 ||
Kārikā Ekasaptatā
In having (a) pra̍ti̩varṇi̍kā̩, ˰ in bhūtā̍’ng ¦
in bhāva̩nā̍ also̩, (tis) no̍t a̍ruci̩. |
No̍t a̍dhi̩vāsa̍ of mana̩s·kāra̍, ¦
upon vyā̩kṛta̍’ng ni̩yata̎, (doth one) spṛhā̍. || 11.71 ||
Kārikā Dvasaptatā
In ā̩yatī̍’ng, from da̩rśa̍na, the vṛtti̩’s of ¦
ceta̍nā̩, sa̍ma̩tā’nes (is) the īkṣa̍ṇā, |
in these agra̩ dharma̍’s, by vṛ̩tti̍, and ¦
from a̩gra̍tva’st ātma̩ a̩va̍dhāra̩ṇā̍. || 11.72 ||

The̎se, the śubha̩ ma̍na̩s·kārā̍’s, ¦
these daśa̩ pāra̍mita̩ a̩nvayā̍’s, |
eve̍ry mo̩me̍nt, of those bodhi̩sattvā̍’s, ¦
in the dhātu̩’s puṣṭi̍’ng, they bha̩va̍nti̩, inde̎ed. || 11.73 ||
Dharma Paryeṣṭi Bhede
Kārikā Catuḥsaptatā
From puṣṭi̍, from adhyā̩śa̍ya, ¦¦
those two maha̍tī, the pa̩ryeṣṭi̍ (tis) i̩ṣya̍te̩’d, in dhīra̍. |
Sa̍vi̩vāsā̍, indeed, a̍vi̩vāsā̍, ¦¦
(tis) in that manne̩r, just so̍, the vai̩bhutvi̍kī, of tho̩se. || 11.74 ||
Kārikā Pañcasaptatā
A̍sa̩kāyā̍, laghu̩ kāyā̍, ¦¦
pra̩pūrṇa̍ kāyā̍ also̩, of bo̍dhi̩sattva̍’s, |
these bahu̩ māna̍’d sūkṣma̩ mānā̍s, ¦¦
(are) ni̩rmāṇā̍’ble, a̩nd e̩ṣa̎ṇa’ng the abhi̩matā̍’d. || 11.75 ||
Dharma Hetutva Paryeṣṭau
Kārikā Ṣaṭsaptatā
In rūpa̩ (and) a̩rūpa̍, the dharma̍, ¦¦
(tis) the lakṣa̩ṇa̍ hetu̍, that manner, just so, also the ā̩rogya̍. |
In (being) ai̩śvarya̍, with these abhi̩jñā̍’s, ¦¦
thus so, in a̩kṣaya̍tva, (tis) also̩, of dhīra̍’s. || 11.76 ||
Vikalpa Paryeṣṭau
Kārikā Saptasaptatā
(Tis) a̩bhāva̍ (and) bhāva̩ -a̩dhya̍pa̩vāda̍- ka̩lpa̍. ¦
(Tis) eka̍tva -nānā̩- the sva̍vi̩śeṣa̍ (of) ka̩lpā̍’s. |
Which manne̩r, (are) a̩rtha̍’s -nāma̩- a̩bhi̍ni̩veśa̍ (to) ka̩lpā̍’s; ¦
by those jina̩ ā̩tma̍ ja̍’s, these shall’t be sa̩mpa̍ri̩varja̍’te̩d. || 11.77 ||
Dharma Paryeṣṭi Samāptiḥ
Kārikā Aṣṭāsaptatā
Thu̍s, the śubha̩ mati̍, having go̩ne to, (tis) for (a) yatna̍ most ugra̩’ous. ¦¦
Dvaya̍ parye̩ṣi̍ta’ng (for) dharma̍tā!, -(tis) with ta̩ttvā̍!- |
Prati̩śara̍ṇa’ng mata̍, -a̩lways for the pra̩jānā̍-, ¦¦
bha̩vati̍’s, with these guṇa̍’s, (it) is like a sa̩mudra̍ very pra̩pūrṇa̍. || 11.78 ||
