Prabhāva Lakṣaṇa Vibhāge

Kārikā Prathamaḥ

The u̍tpatti̩'ng vā̍k (and) ci̩tta̍ śubha̩ (and) a̩śubhā̍, (tis) for dhi̩, ¦

tha̎t, sthāna̍'ng (of a) ni̩ḥsāra̍ pada̍'ng a̍paro̩kṣa̍. |

For jñāna̍, assu̩redly, in these sa̍rva̩traga̍'ng sapra̩bheda̍'s, ¦

for avyā̩hata̍'ng, dhīra̩ gata̍'ng, (is) the pra̩bhāva̍. || 7.1 ||

Hetu Artham, Ārabhya

Kārikā Dvitīyaḥ

For dhyā̍na, for the catu̩rtha̍, suvi̩śuddha̍'d, having e̩tya̍'d, ¦

the ni̩ṣkalpa̍nā, (is) by jñāna̩ pa̍ri̩graha̍'ng; |

which manne̍r, the vya̩va̍sthāna̩ of mana̍s, (tis) from (a) kriyā̩. ¦

For pra̍bhāva̩'s siddhi̍, (tis) the para̩ma'st, upon para̍'st, li̍ke tha̩t. || 7.2 ||

Phala Artham, Ārabhya

Kārikā Tṛtīyaḥ

By whi̍ch, with these ā̍rya̩ (and) divya̍ a̍pra̩tima̍'s, with these vi̩hāra̍'s, ¦

with these brāhma̩ (vihāras) also, consta̍nt, (doth one) vi̩ha̍rati, with these u̩dāra̍'s. |

Having had (a) buddhā̍'ng, a̩nd had (a) satvā̍ a̩lso, sa̍, in these dikṣu̩, having gatvā'd̍, ¦

sa̩mmāna̍yaty, ā̩naya̍te's, to vi̩śuddhi̍m. || 7.3 ||

Darśana Karma, Sandarśana Karma ca, Ārabhya

Kārikā Caturthaḥ

For these māya̩ u̩pa̍ma̩'st, doth one paśya̍ti, for these loka̩ dhātu̍'s. ¦

For sarva̍ those with sa̩sattva̍, for those by savi̩varta̍na̩'s ā̩śa̍'ng, |

sa̩ndarśa̍yati̩'d, like tha̍t also̩, for tho̍se, whereo̩f, (is) i̩ṣṭa̍'d. ¦

By vaśa̍'s most vi̩citra̍'ng, indee̩d, (tis) with these sa̍pra̩kāra̍'s. || 7.4 ||

Raśmi Karma, Ārabhya

Kārikā Pañcamaḥ

By these raśmi̍ pra̩mokṣa̍'ng, bhṛśa͈, having had a duḥkhi̍ta, also ¦

having had (an) ā̩pāyi̍ka, to the̍se varga̩'d gata̍'ng, (it) karo̩ti̍'s. |

For these māra̩ a̩nvaya̍, for those kṣubdha̩ vi̍māna̩'d śobha̍'s, ¦

having had a sa̩ṅkampa̍'ng, tis made to trāsa̩ya̍te, for those wi̩th māra̍'s. || 7.5 ||

Vikrīḍana Karma ca, Ārabhya

Kārikā Ṣaṣtaḥ

For the sa̩mādhi̍ vi̩krīḍi̍ta̩'ng, unto the a̍pra̩meya̍, ¦

(tis) sa̩ndarśa̍yati'd, of the agra̩ gaṇa̍, in the ma̩dhya̍. |

By those wi̩th karma̍·janma̩ u̩ttama̍·ni̩rmita̍, also ¦

the satva̩ a̩rtha̍ ā̩ti̍ṣṭhati̩'s, sarva̩ kāla̍. || 7.6 ||

Kṣetra Pariśuddhi Karma, Ārabhya

Kārikā Saptamaḥ

From jñāna̩ vasi̍tva'ness, (doth) sa̩mupa̍iti̩, to śuddhi̍, ¦

the kṣetra̍; which ma̩nner, tis for kāma̍ (of) ni̩darśa̍na. |

In these a̍buddha̩ nāma̍'s, and from the buddha̩ nāma̍'d ¦

sa̩ṃśrāva̍ṇa'ng, for hi̩m, (doth) kṣipa̍te; othe̩rwise, (tis) in the dhātu̍. || 7.7 ||

Yoga Artham, Ārabhya

Kārikā Aṣtamaḥ

The śakta̍ bha̩va̍ti's, just so̩ also̍, in satva̩ pāka̍'ty. ¦

The “sa̍ñjāta̩ pakṣa̍, (tis) the śaku̩ni̍”, such manne̩r, same wa̍y. |

From the buddha̍, to pra̩śaṃsā̍, labha̩te̍'s, (an) ati̩mātrā̍. ¦

The ā̩deya̍ vākya̩ bhava̍ti's, for pra̩jānā̍m. || 7.8 ||

Vṛtty Artham, Ārabhya

Kārikā Navamaḥ

Ṣaḍdhā̍, therefore, (tis) the a̩bhijñā̍; tri̩vidhā̍, also̩ the vidyā̍; ¦

a̩ṣṭau̍, the vi̩mokṣā̍'s, these abhi̩bhuva̍'s; that manne̩r, aṣṭa̍u, |

daśa̍, mo̍reo̩ver, the kṛtsna̍ of these ā̍ya̩ta̍na's, to anya̩'ness, these shall be eya̍'ng. ¦

These sa̩mādhi̍'s, dhīra̩ gata̍'ng, (tis) the pra̩bhāva̍. || 7.9 ||

Māha Ātmya Udbhāvana Arthaṃ

Kārikā Daśamaḥ

He tru̍ly, (has) the para̩ma'st vaśi̍tva labdha̩'ng buddhi̍; ¦

(a) jaga̩t, a̍vaśa̩, in sva̍vaśa, having vi̩dhāya̍'d, alwa̩ys. |

Para̩hita̍ karaṇa̩'d e̩kata̍'ng a̍bhi̩rāma'ng, ¦

(he) ca̍ra̩ti's, in these bhava̍'s, veri̩ly, siṃha̍vat (and) su̩dhīra̍. || 7.10 ||
