|| Oṃ, namaḥ, sarva buddha bodhisattvebhyaḥ ||

Parama Artha Lakṣaṇa Vibhāge

Kārikā Prathamaḥ

Parama Artha Lakṣaṇa Vibhāge, Ślokaḥ

No̍t sa̩t, no̍t also̩ a̩sa̍t, (tis) no̩t that ma̍nner, not also̩ a̩nother manne̍r, ¦

no̩r jāya̍te'd, vye̩ti's, no̍t also being ava̩hīya̍te'd, |

no̩r vardha̍te's, no̩t the̩refo̍re, (doth) vi̩śudhya̍te, a̩gai̍n. ¦

Vi̩śudhya̍te's, ta̎t, the para̍ma'st artha̩ lakṣa̍ṇa! || 6.1||

Ātma Dṛṣṭi Viparyāsa Pratiṣedhe

Kārikā Dvitīyaḥ

Ātma Dṛṣṭi Viparyāsa Pratiṣedhe, Ślokaḥ

No̍t also̩, (is) ā̩tma dṛṣṭi̍'ng, i̩tse̍lf, an ātma̩'s lakṣa̍ṇā. ¦

No̍t also̩, be̩sides, (is) du̍ḥ'ng sa̩ṃsthita̍tā, vi̩lakṣa̍ṇā. |

For these dvaya̍'s, (is it) no̩t, also̍ a̍gai̩n, bhrama̍; thi̩s, indee̍d, (is) u̍dita̩'ng. ¦

The̍nce, also̩, mokṣa̍, (tis a) bhrama̩ mātra̍'s saṅ̩kṣaya̍. || 6.2 ||

Viparyāsa Paribhāṣāyān

Kārikā Tṛtīyaḥ

Viparyāsa Paribhāṣāyān, Dvau Ślaukau

Pray te̩ll, a jana̍, the vi̩bhra̍ma̩ mātra̍, (is) ā̩śrita̍'ng. ¦

The para̩'st, like that, (is a) duḥkha̍ pra̩kṛti̍; tis not for sa̩ntatā̍. |

The a̩veda̍ka, the veda̍ka, just so̩, (are) duḥkhi̍ta'ng. ¦

No̩t du̩ḥkhi̍ta'ng, (is) the dharma̩·maya̍'ng; (tis) not ta̩n·maya̍'d. || 6.3 ||

Kārikā Caturthaḥ

Viparyāsa Paribhāṣāyān (2)

Having pratī̩tya̍'d, in (a) bhā̩va̍ (of) pra̩bhava̍; pray te̩ll how, (a) jana̍, ¦

the sa̩makṣa̍ vṛtti̩, śraya̍te's; other tha̩n, to be kāri̍ta'd. |

The tama̍, the pra̩kāra̍, whi͈ch!, thi̍s!, is of thi̩s so̍rt!; ¦

whi̩ch, the avi̩paśya̍'nt, sa̩d (and) asa̍t, ni̩rīkṣa̍te's. || 6.4 ||

Asatya Ātmani, Śama Janma Yoge

Kārikā Pañcamaḥ

Asatya Ātmani, Śama Janma Yoge, Ślokaḥ

No̍t also̩ wi̩thi̍n, whi̩ch (is) a̍lso, no͈t vidya̍te'd, in tho̩se two̍, ¦

the sa̍d artha̩ vṛttyā̍, of (a) śama̍ ja̩n manu̍, in thi̩s wo̍rld. |

That manne̍r, thereto, from (a) janma̩ (so) kṣaya̍'ng, (tis) vi̩dhīya̍te'd. ¦

Of śama̍, the lābha̩'ng, (tis) of śubha̍ karma̩'s kāri̍ṇ'ing. || 6.5 ||

Tat Pratipakṣa Pārama Arthika Jñāna Praveśe

Kārikā Ṣaṣtaḥ

Tat Pratipakṣa Pārama Arthika Jñāna Praveśe, Catvāraḥ Ślokāḥ

Having sa̩mbhṛtya̍, for the sa̩mbhāra̍, unto (an) a̩nanta̍ pā̩ra̍, ¦

of jñāna̩, of puṇya̍ also̩, (is) the bo̍dhi̩sattva̍, |

in dharma̍'s, in cintā̍'s, from vi̩ni̍śrita̩tva̍ ¦

for jalpa̩ (in) a̩nvayā̍, for the artha̩ gati̍, on para̎'st, just so̩. || 6.6 ||

Kārikā Saptamaḥ

Tat Pratipakṣa Pārama Arthika Jñāna Praveśe, (2)

For these artha̍'s, one, having vi̩jñāya̍'d, and for these jalpa̩ mātra̍'s, ¦

san̩tiṣṭha̍te's, unto i̩t, ni̍bha the citta̩ mātra̍. |

To pra̩tyakṣa̍tā, eti̩'s also̍, the dharma̩'s dhātu̍; ¦

from that, (tis) vi̩yukta̍'d, by advaya̩ lakṣa̍ṇa. || 6.7 ||

Kārikā Aṣtamaḥ

Tat Pratipakṣa Pārama Arthika Jñāna Praveśe, (3)

No̩r asti̍'s (it) like tha̩t, from citta̍, late̩r, having been e̍tya̩'d, by buddhi̍. ¦

Of citta̍, no̩t (doth) a̩stitva̍ upa̩iti̍, from tha̩t. |

Of dvaya̍, – no̩t the a̩stitva̍, having u̩petya̍'d –, (a) dhī̩ma̍t ¦

sa̩ntiṣṭha̍te's he̩re, in the gati̍ of the dharma̩'s dhātu̍. || 6.8 ||

Kārikā Navamaḥ

Tat Pratipakṣa Pārama Arthika Jñāna Praveśe, (4)

The a̩kalpa̍nā, with jñāna̩'s bala̍, of the dhī̩ma̍t, ¦

by sama̍ a̍nu̩yāta̍'ng, from (being) sama̩nta̍, alwa̩ys; |

unto tha̍t, (is) the ā̩śraya̍, (a) gahva̩ra (of) doṣa̍ sa̩ñcaya̍. ¦

By mahā̩ gada̍, indee̩d, viṣa̍ (tis) ni̩rasya̍te'd. || 6.9 ||

Parama Artha Jñāna Māha Ātmye

Kārikā Daśamaḥ

Parama Artha Jñāna Māha Ātmye, Ślokaḥ

The muni̍ vi̩hita̍'d (a) su̩dharma̍ su̩vyava̩stha̍, ¦

for (a) mati̍, having upa̩dhāya̍'d, with sa̩mūla̍ in a dharma̩'s dhātu̍. |

For (a) smṛti̩ mati̍, having ava̩gamya̍'d, to the kalpa̩ mātrā̍, ¦

vraja̩ti's the guṇa̍ a̍rṇava̩'s pārama̍'st ā̍śu̩ dhīra̍. || 6.10 ||
