Bodhisattva Paripāke, Saṅgrahaḥ

Kārikā Prathamaḥ

The rūci̍, the pra̩sāda̍, ˰ the pra̩śama̍, the anu̩kampa̍nā'nes, ¦

the kṣamā̍, the̩n, the medhā̍, ˰ (tis) to pra̩bala̍tva'nes, like tha̩t also̍. |

A̩hārya̍tā̩'nes, with these a̩ṅga̍'s, ˰ (tis a) sa̩mupeta̍tā'nes, to bhṛ̩śam. ¦

O jina̍ ā̍tma̩ jā̍, ˰ that, (tis) the pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍. || 8.1 ||

Rūci Paripākam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Dvitīyaḥ

The su̩mitra̍tā, ‐ādi̩traya̍‐, (tis an) ugra̩ vīrya̍tā. ¦

The parārdha̩, (tis a) niṣṭha̍'ng u̍ttama̩'st dharma̍ sa̩ṅgraha̍'ng. |

In the kṛpā̍lu't sa̩d dharma̍'s mahā̍ pari̩graha̍'ng, ¦

the mata̍, verily, ‐similarly bo̩und‐, tis the pari̍pāka̩ lakṣa̍ṇa. || 8.2 ||

Prasāda Paripākam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Tṛtīyaḥ

The guṇa̩ jñatā̍ then, dire̩ctly, (tis) samā̍dhi̩ lābhi̍tā. ¦

Phala̍ a̍nu̩bhūti̍, from mana̍s, (tis an) adhya̩bheda̍tā. |

O jina̩ ā̩tma ja̍, (tis) in the śāstṛ̩, for sa̍mpra̩patti̍. ¦

The mata̍, veri̩ly, ‐similarly so enjoi̍ned‐, tis the pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍. || 8.3 ||

Praśama Paripākam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Caturthaḥ

Susa̩ṃvṛti̍'d, (tis) the kliṣṭa̩'ng vi̍tarka̩'s varja̍nā. ¦

Ni̩ranta̍ra̩ a̩ya̍'ng, more̩over, (tis a) śubha̍ a̍bhi̩rāma̍tā. |

O jina̍ ā̍tma̩ ja̍, (tis) for kleśa̩ vinā̍ u̍dana̩, there̍fore. ¦

The mata̍, simila̩rly so enjoine̍d, (tis) the pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍. || 8.4 ||

Kṛpā, Paripāka Lakṣaṇam, Adhikṛtya

Kārikā Pañcamaḥ

Kṛpā̍, (tis) by pra̩kṛti̍, o̩n hi̍ghest, for duḥkha̩'s darśa̍na. ¦

Of nihīna̩ citta̍'ng, also̩, tis the sa̍mpra̩varja̍na. |

For vi̩śeṣa̍ gatva̩'ng, (tis) the jaga̍t of agra̩'st janma̍tā. ¦

Para̍'st a̍nu̩kampā̍, (tis) the pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍. || 8.5 ||

Kṣānti Paripāka Lakṣaṇam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Ṣaṣtaḥ

The dhṛti̍, with pra̩kṛti̍, (tis a) pra̩ti̍saṅkhya̩ bhāva̍nā. ¦

(Tis a) Su̩duḥkha̍'s śīta̩ a̩dya̍dhi̩vāsa̍nā, a̩lwa̍ys. |

(Tis) the vi̩śeṣa̍ gāmi̩tva'ng (toward a) śubha̍ a̍bhi̩rāma̍tā. ¦

For the mata̩, of kṣamā̍, (tis) the pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍. || 8.6 ||

Medhā, Paripākam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Saptamaḥ

The vi̩pāka̍ śuddhi̍, (tis) śrava̩ṇa̍'ng (with) a̍dya̩moṣa̍tā. ¦

The pra̩viṣṭa̍tā, of both the sūkta̩'d and durukta̍'d, (tis) that manne̩r. |

From smṛti̍, in mahā̩ bu̍ddhy u̩daya̍'ng, (tis) also̩ yogya̍tā. ¦

Su̩medha̍tā̩, these ā̩ya̍'s, to (a) pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍m. || 8.7 ||

Balavatva Pratilambha Paripākam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Aṣtamaḥ

By śubha̩ dva̍ya, (is) dvaya̩'s dhā̍tu̩ puṣṭa̍tā. ¦

In phala̩ u̩daya̍, also̩, (is) the ā̩śraya̍'s yogya̩tā̍, pa̩rā̍'st. |

The mano̍·ratha̩ ā̩pti̍'d, (tis) the jaga̩d's agra̍ bhū̩ta̍tā. ¦

In the bala̍'s u̍pa̩lambha̍, tis the pari̩pāka̍'s lakṣa̩ṇa̍m. || 8.8 ||

Ahāryatā, Paripākam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Navamaḥ

Su̩dharma̍tā, (is) the yukti̩'d vi̩cāra̍ṇā̩, the a̩śaya̍. ¦

The vi̩śeṣa̍ lābha̍'ng, (tis) for (a) para̩pakṣa̍'s dūṣa̍ṇa. |

Agai̍n, alwa̩ys, (tis) with Māra̍ ni̩ranta̍ra̩ a̩yatā̍, ¦

(An) a̩hārya̍tā, which, (is) the pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍. || 8.9 ||

Prāhāṇika Aṅga Samanvāgama Paripākam, Adhikṛtya

Kārikā Daśamaḥ

Śubha̩ a̩caya̍, moreo̩ver, (tis an) ā̩śraya̍ yatna̩ yogya̍tā. ¦

The vi̩veka̍tā̩, (tis an) u̩dagra̍'d śubha̍'ng a̍bhi̩rāma̍tā. |

Oh jina̩ ā̩tma̍ ja̩, verily, in the aṅga̍'s (of a) sama̩nvaya̍, agai̩n, ¦

the mata̍, indeed, simila̩rly bou̍nd, (tis) the pari̩pāka̍ lakṣa̩ṇa̍. || 8.10 ||

Nava Vidha Ātma Paripāka Māha Ātmyam, Ārabhya

Kārikā Ekādaśaḥ

Like tha̍t, the nava̩ vidha̍ vastu̩ (of a) pāci̍ta̩'ng ā̩tmā̍, ¦

for the para̩'st pa̍ri̩pāca̍na'ng yogya̩tā̍, (tis) u̩peta̍'d; |

(a) śubha̍ maya̩'ng, consta̍ntly, pra̩vardhi̍ta̩'ng the ā̩tmā̍. ¦

Bha̩va̍ti's, alwa̩ys, of the jaga̍t, the agra̍ bandhu̩'s bhūta̍. || 8.11 ||

Sattva Paripāka Vibhāge

Kārikā Dvādaśaḥ

In (a) vraṇa̍, like̩wise, in a bhojya̍, pari̩pāka̍ (is) iṣya̍te'd. ¦

Which ma̩nner, li̍ke tha̩t, (is) srāva̍ṇa'ing the bhoga̩'s yogya̍tā. |

That manne̩r, in ā̩śraya̍, in thi͈s, (is a) dvaya̍ pakṣa̩'s śānta̍tā. ¦

That manne̍r, (is) u̍pa̩bhoga̍tva (a) suśānta̩ pakṣa̍tā. || 8.12 ||

Kārikā Trayodaśaḥ

Vi̩pāca̍nā̩, (tis) u̩ktā̍'d, (is a) pari̩pāca̍nā, that manner. ¦

The pra̩pāca̍nā, also besides, the anu̩pāca̍nā, (tis) pa̩rā̍'st. |

The su̩pāca̍nā, and therefore, the adhi̩pāca̍nā, (tis) ma̩tā̍. ¦

The ni̩pāca̍nā̩, u̩tpāca̍na nā̩, (tis) also, in these dehi̍n's. || 8.13 ||

Kārikā Caturdaśaḥ

The hita̍ ā̍śa'ng, by whi̩ch, in thi̍s world, which manne̩r, the jina̍ ā̍tma̩ jā̍, ¦

the vyava̩sthita̍, (is) for sarva̩ jaga̍d's vi̩pāca̍ya. |

That manne̍r, (are) nei̩ther mātā̍, no̩r pitā̍, no̩r bandhu̍'s, ¦

in suta̍'s, in these bandhu̍'s also̩, su̍vyava̩sthita̍'s. || 8.14 ||

Kārikā Pañcadaśaḥ

That manne̩r, (a) jana̍, no̩t in ā̩tma̍n, (is) vatsa̩la'ng mata̍'d; ¦

from who̩m, thereto̍, (is) within (a) su̩snigdha̍ para̩'st ā̩śraya̍, in (a) jana̍. |

Which manne̍r, kṛpā̩ (is) the ā̩tma̍n, the para̍'st sattva̩ vatsala̍; ¦

in hita̍, in sukha̍ also̩, ju̩st so̍ from ni̩yoja̍na̩'ng, (tis) mata̍'d. || 8.15 ||

‐ Yādṛśena, Dānena, Yathā, Sattvān, Paripācayati Tad, Ārabhya

Kārikā Ṣoḍaśaḥ

Nau̍ght of a bodhi̩sattva̍, (is) of śarī̩ra bhoga̍. ¦

The para̩'st ī̩ṣva deya̍, aga̩in, asti̍'s, every ma̩nner. |

By anu̩graha̍, dvi̩ vidha̍, (tis) pāca̩ya̍t. ¦

For the para̩'st, by being sama̍, with dāna̩ guṇa̍'s, (tis) no̩t tṛpya̍te'd. || 8.16 ||

‐ Yādṛśena, Śīlena, Yathā, Satvān, Paripācayati, Tad, Ārabhya

Kārikā Saptadaśaḥ

Alwa̍ys, by pra̩kṛti̍, (is an) a̍dhy avi̩hiṃsa̍ka, for svaya̩m, ¦

rata̍'ng, apra̩matta̍; there̩in, (tis) the para̍'st, being caused to ni̩veśa̍yat. |

Afte̩rwards, the para̍'st a̍nu̩graha̍·kṛ̩t'ng, (tis) dvidhā̍, in para̍'st. ¦

By the vi̩pāka̍ ni̩ṣyanda̍'s guṇa̩, (is) the pāca̍ka. || 8.17 ||

‐ Yādṛśyā, Kṣāntyā, Yathā, Sattvān Paripācayati, Tad, Ārabhya

Kārikā Aṣṭādaśaḥ

On para̍'st, in apa̩kāri̍n'ing, (an) upa̩kāri̍ buddhi̩ma̍t, ¦

caused to be pra̩marṣa̍yat, unto u̩gra̍, likewise also̩, to the vya̍ti̩krama̍; |

by these u̍pāya̩ citta̍'ng, by these apa̩kāra̍ marṣa̍ṇa̩'ng, ¦

in śubha̍, (he is) caused to samā̩dāpa̍yate, these apa̩kāri̍n's. || 8.18 ||

‐ Yādṛśena, Vīryeṇa, Yathā, Sattvān, Paripācayati Tad, Ārabhya

Kārikā Navadaśaḥ

Aga̍in, were o̩ne, to yatna̍ after the para̩ma̍'st, (tis) sa̩mā̍śrita̩'ng ¦

no̍t being khidya̩te̍'d, by these kalpa̩'s (of a) saha̍sra̩ koṭi̍. |

The jina̍ ā̍tma̩ ja̍, for the sattva̩'s gaṇa̍, brought to pra̩pāca̍yat, ¦

(is) of para̩'st e̩ka citta̍, of śubha̍, from kāra̩ṇa̍'ng. || 8.19 ||

‐ Yādṛśena, Dhyānena, Yathā, Sattvān, Paripācayati Tad, Ārabhya

Kārikā Viṃśaḥ

Vaśi̍tva, ‐having ā̩gamya̍'d, in the mana̍s‐, (tis) anu̩ttara̍'d. ¦

Afte̍rwards, one is brought to samā̩varja̍yate (it), he̩re, in the śāsa̍na. |

Having ni̩hatya̍'d, (tis) sarva̩ for ava̩māna̍ of kāma̍tā. ¦

By śubha̍, tis brought to sa̩ṃvardha̍yate, also̩, for hi̍m, moreo̩ver. || 8.20 ||

‐ Yādṛśyā, Prajñayā, Yathā, Sattvān, Paripācayati Tad, Ārabhya

Kārikā Ekaviṃśaḥ

He̍, in the tattva̩·bhāva̍ a̍rtha̩ naya̍'ng, suni̩ścita̍'d, ¦

karo̍ti̩'s, for these sattva̍'s, for the suvi̩nīta̍'d sa̩ṃśaya̍'s. |

From tha̍t, also the̩y, tha̍t (are) from the jina̩'s śāsa̍na̩'ng ā̩dara̍; ¦

they (are) vi̩vardha̍ya̩nte̍'d, to sva̩para̍, by these guṇa̍'s, by these śubha̍'s. || 8.21 ||

‐ Niyamana

Kārikā Dvāviṃśaḥ

Thus so̍, in (a) su̩gati̍'ng gati̍, in the śubha̩ traya̍, a̩nd ¦

for (a) jaga̍t a̩khila̍'d, with kṛ̩pā̍, that one (is a) bodhi̩sattva̍. |

With a tanu̩'s para̍ma'st vi̩madhya̍ma pra̩kāra̍, ¦

one vi̩naya̍ti's, by (a) loka̩ samā̍na bhāva̩ gatyā̍'ng. || 8.22 ||
